Color Your Life

Arliss

Age 69

Forever young: a label Arliss beautifully displays. Her doors remain open creating space to learn and receive new wonders. She looks for ways to improve and exhort herself, tasting life anew, venturing into unknown territory and investing in the lives of others. Her very life attracts, encourages and nurtures like a gorgeous bloom eliciting life and adding sustenance from within.

Balancing between a sincere humility and a strong confidence of beliefs she contributes her thoughts:

“Here are my truths;

Play in mud puddles once in a while, love the child in you!
Never give up. No matter how tough things get. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. That is how I ran/walked 26.2 miles at age 52 and 62. The urge sometimes is so strong to give up on life but you need to stand tall and keep going because there is always a beer at the finish-line for you.
Say one nice thing to everyone you meet today, especially the ones that are not so kind to you. It’s so easy to make someone’s day better.
Stop all the worry. It is such a waste of time and energy. When we worry we are either in our past or in our future but we are not in our present.
Create whenever possible. Create whatever brings you joy.
Never lose your sense of humor. It is so healing to laugh and make others laugh.”

Arliss’ beliefs are in her heart and seen through her walk.
